Openings still available in Preschool for the 2017-2018 school year

There are 6 spots still available in Preschool for the 2017-2018 school year!

Documents Needed Are:
*Birth Certificate
*Social Security Card
*Immunization Record
*Proof of Income (W-2, 1040, 1040EZ, etc.)

 *Two (2) valid proofs of residency:  one (1) MUST be a utility bill. All proof of residency documents must have the parent/guardian’s name, address, and be currently dated.

Valid proof of residency are as follows: monthly mortgage statement, lease/rental agreement (whole document, all pages, must include signature of both parties), Purchase/Construction Contract, Current Pay Stub, Proof of Car Insurance, Government Assistance Program Paperwork, Official Voter Registration Card from Board of Elections, and/or monthly bank statement.

** Nothing handwritten will be accepted (example: receipts, notes, etc.) Post Office Boxes are also not acceptable. We do not accept driver’s license, tax forms, or junk mail for proof of residency.

*Custody Papers, if applicable. Court docs have to be official court docs with the court date and time stamp that are signed by the judge.

CHANGE TO THE PRESCHOOL FUNDING: ONLY four year old children in the LaBrae district are permitted to register and attend the grant-funded preschool.  The child needs to be 4 years old by August 1, 2017.

*Transportation is not provided for the preschool program.

Title I 2017 survey for Parents of Elementary, Intermediate and Middle School students

Title I school wide is a federal program designed to help all students reach high academic standards.  The purpose of this questionnaire is to gather information on how well the school communicates with parents.  Please take a few minutes to respond to the questions below.  Your feedback will be used to improve parent communication and parent involvement activities at the school.  Suggestions on how we can better help students at school and at home are welcome.  Thank you in advance for providing your input.

End of the year report cards for High School and Middle School Students

If you would like your child’s end-of-the-year report card mailed home, provided all fees are paid, please provide a self-addressed stamped envelope to the appropriate main office.  Please include your child’s name in the bottom left hand corner on the front of the envelope.  Otherwise, report cards can be picked up and fees can be paid in the main offices from June 1-7 from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. and then again from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m.  Beginning June 8, report cards, paying of fees, copies of blank physical forms and work permits can be picked up in the Treasurer’s Office.  Have a great summer break!

Track Open for Walking

The track will be open for walking beginning Monday, April 3. The track is open on days school is in session from 6:00 AM until dusk.

Kindergarten registration every Thursday and Friday in April from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and then from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Parents, schools are required to track the incidence of influenza for the County Health Department.  If you are calling your child off for the flu please keep in mind, for the purpose of reporting, the following are considered symptoms of Influenza:

  • Sudden onset of symptoms
  • Fever>100 degrees
  • Headache
  • Muscle aches
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Fatigue
